What is proplanduse?

Property Type

The field PropertyType is used within ATTOM Cloud to categorize properties. It forms part of both the Addresses and Property Characteristics datasets. Propertytypes are grouped into subcategories and categories.

Within ATTOM Cloud, a dimension table called DimPropertyTye provides a list of the available property types. A copy of this table is attached (DimPropertyType.xlsx )

Property Land Use

Prior to the development of ATTOM Cloud and ATTOM API, ATTOM used a different taxonomy to categorize properties. To maintain backward compatibility with the earlier versions of our API, we have continued to maintain the original system of categorization in a field called proplanduse. It should be viewed as a deprecated field.
