Valid Passwords

To keep life simple we are endeavoring to allow you to use the same credentials through ATTOM Cloud even though underneath the hood there are many software components needed to deliver ATTOM Cloud. 

Password Complexity

The following guidelines for passwords meet the requirements for all the software products we use.

• The password does not contain the account name of the user.
• The password is between 8 and 256 characters in length
• The password contains characters from three of the following four categories:
  • Uppercase letters (A through Z)
  • Lowercase letters (a through z)
  • Numeric digits (0 through 9)
  • Non-alphanumeric characters such as bang (!), dollar ($), pound (#), or percent (%).

Password Validation

Each time a new password must be entered, ATTOM Cloud will endeavor to keep track of the characters used and provide feedback on any of the above conditions that have not been met. When entering a new password for a second time, we will provide feedback as to when the password is matching the one already provided.
