What do I need to connect to ATTOM Cloud
THere are three things needed to access ATTOM Cloud data:
- A SQL server driver to access the data
- Your IP address must be whitelisted
- You will need credentials to authenticate with the server
1. SQL Server Driver
- Most ATTOM Cloud data is made available via a SQL Server database hosted on Azure. Most software comes with drivers to access SQL Server.
2. IP Whitelist
- Each ATTOM Cloud account is able to nominate one IP Address. You can use this during your evaluation of ATTOM Cloud. It can also be used to cover situations where you are working away from the office and need a way to access ATTOM Cloud from a new IP address (see below)
- Once you have purchased ATTOM Cloud we will work with you to identify a list of IP addresses that correspond to servers or workstations that are expected to access ATTOM Cloud. Contact your Customer Service Manager to make changes to this list.
3. Authenticate
- To create a connection with ATTOM CLoud you will need to authenticate. At this time authentication is handled via SQL Server authentication, using a variation of your account name and your current ATTOM Cloud password. Direct Integration provides details of the username you must use (see below).
