Enhancements

Sometimes big ideas need to give way to smaller day-to-day needs. The following are some of the smaller enhancements to existing features within ATTOM Cloud.

Data Element Filter

A new filter has been added to our solution catalog allowing solution packs to be filtered based upon the data elements included. e.g. if you have an interest in AVM data, it is possible to view the solution packs that include AVM data.

Note: While it is only possible to filter on one data element at a time, it is possible to combine an industry filter with a data element filter.

Direct Integration for Dedicated Instances

Our Direct Integration feature now supports customers with dedicated instances of ATTOM Cloud. If your company has a dedicated instance of ATTOM Cloud it is now possible to use Direct Integration as a trusted and reliable way of finding all the technical details necessary to connect your software to this ATTOM Cloud instance. "Dedicated Instance" should appear as an option in the Connection drop-down if your company has a dedicated instance of ATTOM Cloud instead of "Shared Instance".

Documentation for Data Elements

The data provided as part of each solution pack is defined by the data elements that are included. To help you quickly understand what that data is, we have added a new section at the bottom of each solution pack that lists the data elements with links to documentation about each of those data elements.

Note: The documentation is not new, it's just that we are making it easier for you to access it.

SQL Editor for Dedicated Instance

ATTOM Cloud's lightweight SQL Editor has also been enhanced to support customers with a dedicated instance of ATTOM Cloud.  "Dedicated Instance" should appear as an option in the Connection drop-down if your company has a dedicated instance of ATTOM Cloud instead of "Shared Instance". When selected, any queries will be executed against your company's dedicated instance of ATTOM Cloud.

Data

ATTOM is constantly looking for new sources of property data. When we find new data it is our goal to make it available within ATTOM Cloud asap. The following are new data elements or enhancements to existing data elements that are now available as part of ATTOM Cloud. Most of these are available for immediate evaluation via our 5-county limited trial database, included as part of your ATTOM Cloud account.

County Coordinates

The DimCounty table has been enhanced to include new columns for Latitude and Longitude which together define the centroid of the county. These new values can be used in geospatial calculations to undertake distance calculations involving a county.

On Market Rentals

Properties listed for rent in the public domain.

Rental AVM

Estimates the likely rental value of a property based upon rental listings in the immediate area for comparable properties. To establish a rental AVM ATTOM must be able to locate sufficient recent rental listings in the immediate area of the property.<

Trial Counties

We have made a change to the five counties provided as part of our five-county trial database. Marion county Indiana has been replaced with Duval county Florida. The five counties included in our five-county trial database are as follows:-

• Duval, FL
• Ventura, CA
• Mecklenburg, NC
• Douglas, CO
• Ramsey, MN

Bugs

Sometimes in the rush to deliver new features and enhancements, we allow bugs to creep into the code. We're pretty sure there are a lot more that haven't yet been found, but of those that have been discovered by our customers or the team here at ATTOM, the following are some that we believe we have squashed this month.

Registering via an Invitation 

A bug has been found in the process of registering for an ATTOM Cloud account after receiving an invitation from somebody else within the same company. We have updated the process to ensure registrations work smoothly.

There's More Than Tax Assessor

Tax Assessor is our largest selling product for bulk delivery. But that doesn't mean you need to have every solution pack referred to as Tax Assessor, right? Part of our description for solution packs had the name "Tax Assessor" had -coded, meaning we referred to each solution pack as Tax Assessor regardless of what it was. We have found this oversight and now give each solution pack the right amount of identity and recognition.
