Establishing a SQL Database Connection

To establish a connection to ATTOM Cloud Data use the following Navigation

Data :: Get Data :: From Database :: From SQL Server Database

Configuring SQL Server Database

Configure your connection to ATTOM Cloud using the information provided by Direct Integration

Server: Enter the Host Name from ATTOM Cloud Direct Integration

Database: Enter the Database Name from ATTOM Cloud Direct Integration. 

Note: While optional for Excel, it is a requirement that the database name be provided for Direct Integration to work.

Using A SQL Query

If you wish to import data from a specific SQL query then select "Advanced Options" and paste the SQL code

Importing an Entire Table/View

If you chose not to provide a SQL Query, Excel will display a list of the tables/views in the ATTOM CLoud database. You can select one or more of the tables/views to be imported. Select "Load" to load the selected table/view(s). ALternatively, you can select "Transform Data" to use Excel's Power Query capabilities to make changes to the data before it is loaded into Excel.

User Credentials

Excel needs your credentials to access ATTOM Cloud.

Authentication Type: Database

User name: Enter Username from ATTOM Cloud Integration

Password: Enter the current password used to access ATTOM Cloud

ODBC Driver

Depending on how Excel has been configured within your organization, it may be necessary to download and install the Microsoft ODBC driver for SQL Server.
